In 1923, the Blijdenstein textile family from Twente built their country estate at De Wilmersberg, one of the most beautiful spots of Twente. This is the place where the Blijdensteins welcomed many guests, with hot chocolate and pancakes. Now, 100 years later, we are continuing that tradition with a lot of love. Whether you are a culture vulture, bon vivant, or would rather explore nature, you can be as active as you want here, or relax in total peace

Besides: no need to go abroad, because here in Twente, you could be forgiven for thinking you are in the hilly landscape of Tuscany.
The hotel offers direct access to long walks through the beautiful, colourful natural surroundings, for example, to the highest point in Overijssel; Tankenberg. Rather go cycling? We boast the most scenic routes, directly accessible from the hotel. You can hire bicycles, or store and charge your own bike in our bike storage facility. The large historical villa and 14-hectare country estate are guaranteed to provide the rest and relaxation you need.
Booking terms and conditions
- You can cancel this package up to 24 hours prior to arrival. If you cancel within 24 hours prior to arrival, you can amend the check-in date of your stay without incurring cancellation fees. You do however need to pay any difference in the rate (prices are higher over the weekend than they are from Monday through Thursday).
- Prices quoted are per person, based on double room occupancy. Coming alone? We also have Small Rooms that do not incur a single person supplement.
- Supplement for children up to 4 years: € 12.50. A supplement of € 37.50 applies for children from 4 to 12 years. This includes bed and breakfast.
- This package is not available in combination with our own promotions or offers from third parties.
- The price excludes municipal taxes of € 4.00 p.p.p.n.
