De Wilmersberg has a great passion for tasty, high-quality and ethical food. Ronald Bor and his team prefer to cook using fresh organic products sourced locally. The focus is on vegetables, whether or not accompanied by a lovely piece of meat or fish.

Vegetarians are welcome too

From the moment Ronald Bor joined De Wilmersberg in December 2011, his goal was to delight vegetarians and flexitarians with delectable dishes. As he himself says: "When I eat out somewhere, I always enjoy it when my vegetarian companions are served dishes that reflect the same thoughtful preparation. It is the ultimate challenge for me to prepare vegetarian dishes in a way that truly delight those who do not eat meat or fish. We are creative in our kitchen and use many excellent local products and seasonal fruit. Naturally, our menu also includes excellent meat and fish dishes.

Fine wines

De Wilmersberg is listed in Grootspraak 2020 and has been awarded five grape bunches (out of a maximum of five). According to foodies, Grootspraak, in addition to Lekker, Michelin and Gault & Millau, is one of the four leading guides in the Netherlands when it comes to food and drink. We host sociable free wine tasting sessions for our hotel guests every Saturday at 17.00 hours. The wine menu, compiled with love by sommelier Jan Ansink, can be viewed here.
